Codex Projects provides specialist waterproofing consulting for assistance in the prevention and rectification of water-related building defects.
We specialise in providing building waterproofing design peer reviews for Developers, Architects, Engineers and Builders. Our consulting aims to mitigate the risks of future water ingress defects in multistorey residential, commercial and public buildings such as apartments, hotels, retirement complexes, hospitals, universities and schools.
Building diagnostic services are provided for rectifying waterproofing-related issues such as rainwater ingress to apartment interiors and other water-related defects.
Early-stage development advisory services are also provided, specialising in site analysis, feasibility analysis, due diligence, acquisition and pre-construction.

Background
Adam Taylor established Codex Projects in 2020 and has over 20 years of experience in the building and property industries including over 10 years consulting to some of the most reputable property developers, designers and builders in Australia.
From the age of 13, Adam began working on site (during school holidays) and learning the waterproofing trade while assisting the contractors of his father's and formerly his grandfather's waterproofing company, T.A.Taylor and Son.
More recently, while studying for a Bachelor of Construction Management (Building) (Honours) and consulting with Ross Taylor & Associates for 10 years, Adam continued to learn from his father, Ross and his associates, the "dark art" of building waterproofing and why the problem of water ingress in buildings is so pervasive.
Today, Adam and Ross collaborate more in "board meetings" (surfing together) as Ross focuses on driving regulatory reform, producing industry training and consulting for landmark buildings. Meanwhile, Adam specialises in consulting with industry professionals and property owners on site, aiming to enhance their building projects and maximise the value of their property.
